I’m a freelance writer based in Sydney with a strong interest in issues related to parenting, health and wellbeing, the natural world, sustainability, and the creative arts.
With a background as a specialist counsellor in tertiary-level health care, I am skilled at interviewing and can produce sensitive and considered content. I am also able to tap into my experience as a parent of two small (but busy!) humans for honest and accessible content related to parenting today.
Now happily ensconsed in a creative career that also incorporates creative writing and illustration, I am well-placed to talk to others about their process and endeavours.
I am a regular contributor to Youkie magazine (formerly Kookie magazine) and industry-specific publications such as Community Early Learning Australia’s Amplify! blog and Rattler magazine for the early childhood education sector.
I’ve also written for print publications such as re:think magazine, Magpies magazine, and online publications such as Kidspot, Newborn Baby, and Buzzwords, a children’s publishing industry newsletter.
